Half dozen (6) paper flowers made from a 1970's Hot Rod Magazine destined for the recycle bin. These unique paper flowers are perfect for a retro wedding or a rockabilly bride. An arrangement would be a perfect addition to any mechanic shop or man cave to bring a little pretty in that isn't too fluffy. All the vibrant colors and 1970's look all wrapped into this rose, complete with politically incorrect advertisments!
These roses are approx 4" in diameter and each is individually made so they are unique unto themselves. Your flowers may will not be the same as pictured as they are each one of a kind. The above arrangement is paired with Mabel Lane Boutique upcycled black leather roses and red fabric roses. The entire arrangement is brought together perfectly in a custom bent Maryland License plate vase (originally designed for pencils) that can be purchased from www.etsy.com/shop/CMRdesignsforyou .
Other fabric flowers pictured can be purchase separately. Please send me a conversation for a custom order, mix and match order or create something just for you! All our flowers are handmade from recycled and sustainable materials.
Why Mabel Lane flower stems are silver and not the typical green: Aluminum is a 100% recyclable and sustainable metal. Almost 80% of aluminum produced is still in use and saves more than 90% of the energy to make new aluminum. The moment I add harmful non-biodegradable floral tape or use chemical filled painted floral stems to get the green color I take a step away from my pursuit of eco-thoughtful flowers. All my stems can be clipped and safely recycled without any effort from my customers.
